Amazing place to have a dinner for a special occasion. We had the fish soup, crab salad, half dozen of oysters, half lobster and their tasty cheescake and banana split cookie. The quality of the food was really top level and well presented. I would add more options in the white wine list, but the bottle we had was really good anyway. I am giving 5 starts since I will go back for sure the great food experience we had!

Have ordered from here during lockdown and it was lovely so have been looking forward to dining. It didn’t disappoint! Lovely restaurant and great service. Food delicious too, oysters were fantastic. Will definitely return.

An absolute 10/10! I went to St Clair for a lunch with friends on Saturday at 1pm, the terrace is so lovely, perfectly positioned in the sun (without it being too hot). The atmosphere is lovely, the food is SO delicious! The king prawns, and the cheesy dough balls and the tuna tataki were out of this world! What impressed me the most was the service. We were taken care of by Sophie, she was impeccable and made the experience even more special! Hats off to the entire team and will definitely be coming back. I recommend St Clair for lunch with friends, business meeting or even a family gathering! Well done!

  St Clair is a new seafood restaurant, cevicheria, fish boutique and wine and sake cellar in Clapham Old Town, specialising in experimental Nikkei cuisine. The unique new concept fuses Japanese cooking disciplines with impeccable French-style hospitality.   Elegant and cosy, the restaurant strives for perfection using the highest quality fresh seafood. Whilst it is primarily Nikkei in concept, dishes are experimental – inspired by the heritages of the chefs who work there, led by chef Jorge Baumhauer da Silva, celebrating creative collaboration and London’s diverse food culture.   A one-of-a-kind cevicheria and oyster bar is the centrepiece to St Clair, where guests can watch the highly skilled chefs prepare ceviche and oysters, sipping on a glass or two of Champagne, wine or sake.  The fish boutique allows customers to choose fish from the daily changing counter to take away and cook at home, or the kitchen can prepare and cook the fish for customers if they wish.
